Why would I believe terrorism is down? Almost daily we hear of new attacks in Iraq and elsewhere in the world...

Employment is on the rise.

Do you believe the Bush Administration tonto. Do you seriously believe that terrorism has gone down? Do you believe that employment is as we knew it in the past is on the rise?

Actually terrorism is up this year per the latest figures. And it may keep going up so long as the world isn't brought closer together to fight terrorism, which is like pollution in that it knows no borders. As Kerry says, counter-terrorism is usually a intelligence and law enforcement job. Military invasions don't work, with the exception of Afghanistan which we all agreed needed to be done.
