<Fed will monetize bonds next, to support the financial sector>

Yes, the Wizards are now running around sounding like tough inflation hawks, and do this at the same time.

I'm just a big believer in actions, not words, but apparently the market likes words (or is the bond market changing it's feathers, wants action too?), which makes me an odd duck? Double odd, I think.

Jim, caught your FinSense Interview & Gold

"Very well spoken" is how I'd characterize your interview. You will made fine future contributions I am sure. Appreciate perspectives slightly away from the Gold Bulls' party line that gold will automatically respond to increases in retail inflation...Don't quite buy into the idea that the Chinese will revalue their currency so their people can buy consumer goods more cheaply from Japan, perhaps so their industry can also buy raw materials more cheaply.

Many are starting to pick up on the double speak of Greenspan's - talk up rates, sound tough on inflation, monetize debt and increase the money supply to save the banking system...

Some explanation as to how and why the FED "monetizes debt" would be helpful to many, I suspect.

Gold chart and downside possibility...
