Ted, I remember that when Nixon died, the tributes and the memorials were a LOT more muted than they are now for Reagan. That might be one reason why you don't remember his passing.

Fortunately for the memory of Nixon, time helped heal the wounds that resulted from Watergate. Thus when he passed away, the tribute to Nixon was respectful, fair, and fitting. At least that was the way I remembered it.


I just checked the date he died..........April, 1994........4 months after the LA quake. That explains why don't remember his death at all. I don't remember much from that time except quake problems.
