And your challenge, friend, is going to be far more difficult than mine.

GST, just in case you might be really interested, the line I used: "If a frog had a hip pocket he could wear a gun and keep the snakes off him at night" came to me from my dear departed father.

Every time in my youth and young adulthood, when I forgot myself around Dad and said "If only I had this" of "If only I had done that" or something to that effect using the term IF, my dad would always reply:

"If a frog had a hip pocket. . ."etc.

My dad knew that frogs don't have hip pockets. He also knew that IF I weaned myself from the excuse of continually saying "IF only" then I might grow up and face the realities in that world that he knew so well. And once I was mature enough to face the real issues confronting me, I would no longer have to rely on the lame excuse: "If only etc. . ."

If only you could prove treason;

If only you could truly find some real live human being to condemn;

If only the wheels of justice would grind fast enough to effect the coming November election;

Then, you might, just might, find that leverage you seek to get rid of the man you obviously hate and the administration that you appear unable to support.

"If only. . ."

As Dad said so many times: "Son don't be afraid to grow up."
