Solon, I don't understand your response. What is the composite "Jesus"? What is wrong with morality?

I can agree that civilized people would not support many of the morality ravings of Christian fanatics, and I am one that feels the same. Too many mere human beings have set themselves up as a representative chosen by God, to tell the rest of the world what to do, or not to do. I believe that all people should have reasonable morals that cause them to treat all others as they want to be treated. I think that a basic system of morals is necessary to keep the world a civilized place to live, but that does not mean that anyone has the right to be a single condemner. If one commits a crime in any community, they should expect a penalty issued by the other members of that community.
