A few months prior to Gaddafi's mea culpa a freighter with WMD components was intercepted by our folks. It was en route to Libya. I remember saying he would give up his campaign of terror. He lost his nerve when we tossed a big 'ole bomb down his chimney which killed his wife and child years earlier. Ya'll remember that? And when it was shown on TV of that freighter's cargo his pecker must have shrunk up to an "innie".

The real reason they're doing business with Gaddafi is the same reason they invaded Iraq. OIL and lots of it. Actually, dearest KerrySpirit, with oil reserves of 29.75 billion barrels, Libya's places behind Saudi Arabia, Iraq, the UAR, Kuwait, Iran, Venezuela and Russia. cia.gov scaruffi.com (see, unlike some folks, I do post links to support what I say) This places Libya above Mexico and Nigeria in terms of reserves. Stop being so cynical dude. Don't you think it's good Libya has renounced terrorism?
