en español, even in mejico, the "D" is rolled like the "R"... and the best way to phonetically explain that in english is "thee"... as in... "ah thee oss" As I recall from 7th grade Spanish class, the "Thee" was used primarily in Spain. The Catillion dialect or sumptinerutter. And it was used for the "S" sound. The Latin American's used the "Thee" sound for their "D" sound at times. But then again what the farg do I know. I'm a fraggin Irishman. The close4st we come to Ah Thee Oss is when we say, Ahhh mi ahss! -McClapperanus
