My mother was just in a nursing home. Gosh first you assume my grandfather was in one, then you assume my mother was not. My mother was, just recently, in two homes. One of them was totally fantastic. And so were a couple of others I toured. Amazing facilities.

I knew Clinton would come up- I'm psychic, don't you know- but he expanded coverage for agent orange veterans, which directly affected another of my relatives, and he increased payments. I like a smaller military, myself, that way wars are taken a bit more seriously, and we are probably less inclined to risk wonderful young men and women in pursuit of less than critical, or logical, objectives. I liked the country much better under Clinton, since you bring him up- though both parties are too craven and too short sighted for my tastes. I have no trust at all in our current administration. I do not think they will take care of veterans, or anyone else, for that matter- unless they need the votes (though they will praise veterans, and the people of our nation to the skies- if only we could take cheap rhetoric to the bank, and get some cash for it.)
