<I don't like conspiracy theories,>
CB, once upon a time, long, long ago, I was a 12 year old boy. They are creatures part way through the evolutionary development to becoming adults.
Girls are made of sugar and spice and all that's nice, so they don't experience up close and personal the 12 year old boys' clubs, which rapidly turn into gangs because neighbouring boys have their clubs too and this town isn't big enough for two of us.
Most of us grow out of it, get a dose of hormones and turn into girl chasers, money earners, citizens and dreamers of Utopia where 12th-Dan Nirvana is the norm.
Unfortunately, it seems that a lot of little boys miss some development steps and stay in that 12 year old phase. It's important in child-raising that children experience each development step and go on to build on what they've learned and integrated into their world view.
For example, an infant who doesn't get good emotional bonding is doomed for life. They can't be "fixed" in adult counselling or other trick-psychlist processes. The best that can be done is they learn to cope with how they are so they can function to an acceptable extent, or at worst they need to be put in a cage before they destroy a whole lot of people and property.
Being 12 was a great time of life! I loved it, though it was also frightening. We had spies, conspiracies, plans, wars and adventures. Unencumbered by more mature interests, responsibilities and consequences. It was very good to be an accurate thrower of rocks, firer of shanghais, smasher of forts and runner.
When somewhat younger [I suppose about 7 or 8] I got a scar on my forehead from being kidnapped by the enemy tribe, along with my younger sister, held prisoner, with arms behind back, and being whipped with wire on a stick. They told me they were going to kill me and at that age, I had no doubt that was true. It was one of the more terrifying moments of my life. After torturing me a bit, they let me go, defeated and bleeding.
It seems to me that a lot of people, like Saddam, never progress out of that 12 year old stage, but go on in a perpetual self-reinforcing loop, turning the whole world into a 12 year old boys' club. Hitler had a paradise for 12 year old boys. Maybe that's why Hitler youth was so popular. They had the evil Jews to kill. They had flags, marching, leaders and uniforms, secrets and weapons and conspiracies galore. It was a great time and I'm sure many of them still miss the good old days.
Girls don't do this, some of the "ladies" running the USA torture chambers notwithstanding. They will follow a tough leader, though. They seem to like the alpha male, even if he's a murderous piece of work. Sometimes even if he kills their babies!!! Weird, but that seems to be in the human genome. Lions do stuff like that too, so it's not as though it's unnatural.
When those 12 year old boys grow up, they carry on and some of them end up in politics and power, because they really want that. They bring their conspiracies and all that baggage with them.
The woes of the world look like stuck-in-the-groove 12 year old boys to me.
Or maybe I've got it wrong and those who behave like 12 year old boys as adults in charge of governments missed out on the development step of being a real 12 year old boy. Maybe because their mummy kept them in a sissy way while daddy was out at work. Or something.
Anyway, since territorial wars of conquest are a thing of the past, with no new lands to conquer, no resources of great value [compared with the value of stability], no genealogical tribal boundaries to protect and women to take, and contraception ending Malthusian perpetual war over limited space for liebensraum, perhaps it's time for the world to be run a bit more like New Zealand, where women are in all the positions of power.
Maybe Sugar and Spice and All That's Nice could take over from Lord of the Flies for a while.
Reporting from the front lines on that, it's fairly suffocating to have Nanny State though. The blokes can hardly breathe. The "Ladies" running New Zealand wear trousers and have deep voices as though the proximity to power is causing a gender conversion. Everything is banned. Nanny knows best.
Fathers have a greatly reduced role in society. Nanny is father now, paying the mothers to raise the children. Sociologically, it seems to be hopeless, so be warned, women running the world won't be all beer and skittles, despite the megalomaniac feminazi Utopian dreams which I suppose 10 year old girls have [they mostly mature younger than boys].
It's hard work being a sheeple. Herded here and there, fleeced by the tax department, bitten by a sheeple dog if one steps out of line and in the end, sent to the abattoirs [for the collective good of course].
You can be sure that there are always conspiracies. I dare say when girlz are running the club hut too.
Life's a giggle, that's for sure.
