Chinu - you are spinning hard. Your admitted lie was simply a lie of convenience in a meaningless debate. For the convenience of the moment you chose to lie. But I think it was Chinu X that lost the job and Chinu Y who said they did not.

Your crew has decided that being admitted liears of convenience is more important than revealing the grand scheme.

The word is "integrity." You don't have it (as evidenced by the range of examples you have used) so I don't expect you will ever understand why what you are saying is just more nonsense.

People that do not place much importance regarding honesty will not understand the importance of being able to trust the word of a leader. Dishonest people are not what we should accept for President, ever. I do not care what party they belong to, it is unacceptable. There are much better qualified people out there but they will not lower themselves to be a candidate. We all know people much better than John Kerry and George Bush.

chinu. You said..Why I do not know but you said/asked ......" So lorne, there is a person chasing another person with a gun in his hand. You saw the fleeing person run in one direction and hide. The man with the gun comes upto you and wants to know from you where that person is hiding. What would you say?"....

Is the man with the gun wearing a police uniform.?
Is the man with the gun pointing the gun at me when he asked the question?
Did I see the hiding man commit some sort of crime?

Guess it all depends.

You tell me something when as has been proven to have been lying over and over by a number of posters why do you so strongly defend this person and jump on those who have proven AS to be wrong or lying? Do you not see how this makes you appear to others? do you even care?

You said...." Now lorne, remember before you answer, there were many Jews who were saved this way during WWII."....

Do you really believe that hiding an innocent person to prevent them from being murdered is lying?

You said...." So what we learn from here is that lying to prevent an evil is OK.".....

Chinu, I can't think of what word should be used when mis information is given to protect the life of an innocent person but the word "lie" does not seem to fit well.

But would I give false information to protect the life of an innocent person...YES. Would it be considered lying in the usual sense of the word...I don't really know. Do you?
