lol, OK. You are one of the few independent minded thinkers out there. We may not agree on how to vote, but at least you are voting your conscience.

That category of whether the country is headed in the wrong direction is jaded. IMO the country is headed in the wrong direction, but I blame it on the democraps ability to filibuster legislation that is necessary to put the country back on the right direction. The ability to deny the President and the full Senate the opportunity to vote on federal judges is also a huge problem for proper functioning of our system. So IMO the way to get the country headed back on the right track is to vote out enough democraps to give the conservatives the ability to truly govern the nation.

Here's some wise words from a fellow Repub:

>>The United States is not in a recession. The FORMER recession began during Clinton's last year in office. Bush came into office with that little gem hanging over his head and it became worse, much worse, after 9/11.
Now ALL indicators are heading up...some have been up for some time. Unemployment is down to levels that were considered "full employment" in the last administration. Millions of new jobs have been made available while unemployent rolls dwindle down.

There is no inflation to speak of... yet. Ok, gas prices are high, but did you notice they've fallen lately and most likely keep going down for a while.

Job creation in the manufacturing sector is going up and from all indications, way up. Plant management finally realizes the economy has been consistently and constantly heating up and consumers are ready to buy high ticket durable goods items.

Have you read the news from Iraq? Seems like the UN has announced that the WMD's have been located...or at least parts of them. Hussein dismantled the sites immediately prior to and in the early stages of the war. Some of the metal has been found in the Netherlans and in Turkey. An engine for a missle was found in the Netherlands with a UN inspections tag on it! To emphasize, this news comes from the UN.

This November, its President Bush.<<
