It is nothing new in Washington, and it is a reason why so many do not trust what they say. As long as voters are partisan and allow this dishonesty to continue, it will be an acceptable part of politics. That is a shame... The public sends a huge message to Washington that lying is acceptable. It is accepted on the SI threads by party members. We all know that they do it, but the posts only reflect anger when the other party member does it. Look at Chinu, he has admitted after I outted him that he does lie and it is not important if it helps Kerry be elected. We knew that the Kerry thread has Kerry campaign members posting, and that their posts were disingenuous, and Chinu accepts them wholeheartedly. Elections no longer are about the best person, they are simply republicans and democrats voting for themselves with a small minority of independents making up the swing vote... Voters are disgusted, but do not know what to do... Kerry is the sociopath that scares me the most. I do believe that we start to advise Washington that we no longer will accept the status quo...it is time to bring honesty back to the campaigns and for debates to be better controlled and answers to be just to the questions asked, no straying away to prepared speeches as we see regularily. The candidates mock the questions and the debates by having such rule over them...Tonto, Did I misinterpret your recent post to me from the Kerry forum? Were you saying that in your opinion both Kerry & Bush are liars, or did I get it wrong? Tonto, Did I misinterpret your recent post to me from the Kerry forum?
