I just found it interesting that John Kerry went to Naval Officer Candidate School in Newport Rhode Island. I did also. He graduated in the top 14% of this class. Thats pretty good. That would have earned him a regular commission vice a reserve commission. Top 15% gets regular commissions and can make the Navy a career.

Yes but as late as three months ago he said that he belives strongly in staying the course in Iraq, which is a military approach even though Bush who claims that he is not soft on defence surely proved himself to be short on vision in using the defence. Bush's use of the US military is a disaster. Why cry from rooftops and speculate about Kerry's military approach. Let us look at Bush's record which has been a dismal failure. While we can understand that it lack of Bush's military experience that caused Bush to fail on this score, Kerry on the other hand has a very good military experience and he knows best what is good for combat and which weapons system he needs to use US taxpayer's money. I support all his military votes since his alternative proposal have never been built or tried. So you cannot compare apples to oranges.
