Yep. Ghadaffi is just a modern day Barbary Pirate. I wouldn't trust anything that comes out of his mouth. I remember frequent engagements between US Navy F14s and Ghadaffi fighters in the Med. The MIGs always lost the engagements. Typically, and who knows if its really true or not, the Navy claimed tha the MIGs locked their fire control radars on the F14s first. I also recall Ghadafi being on Ted Koppel's Night Line a LOT.
