Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Seems again , you have penchant for Zen sayings , but where does this lead you to quote it so ? One is to emmulate the teacher/rabbai's example , is what I see stated there , for he is living in better accord with "God" .
We are awakened , reborn, refreshed , bathed and focussed in "His" pure light .
When one dies to the world of "things", one opens up to another world of direct experience , when one puts away the childish things , loses ego for a greater self....etc.

I suppose this means to you , once again the age old & terribly sad enheritance of Christian indoctrination , that only through "Jesus Christ" is this exciting transformation to come ...and further still from the "Father" , from which He , and ONLY HE, came and became one with. But no-other since time began has ever seen the "Father", or the "Kingdom" , as Jesus had ? So much pain that belief has caused the world and wrapped around blood drenched flags and banners of ...and for some a few joys , i would suppose .

Always liked this pure , plain and direct instruction here for where you may begin to look for the Kingdom of God ...the ending of the Gospel of Thomas

His disciples said to him: "On what day will the Kingdom come?" "It will not come when you are looking outward for it. They will not say; 'Behold it is there!' or; 'Behold, it is that one!'. Rather, the Kingdom of the Father is spread out upon the earth and men do not see it.

"

So it just might ...might then have something to do
with how we "See"?

The world's eldest religion, bases so much on this concept of "seeing" God , you'll notice that there are no boundries to the Kingdom of heaven ...and that its funny that the Christians have missed it for so long . But time and truth have a way of equalizing/democratizing all things , and you have your religion and others have theirs.

And they all lived in peace happily ever after ....

;-)

PS: I forgot that your god is a jealous God . So all others can't play in the sandbox with you.
Oh well...

And just as we see or think we see, or have been taught to see....thus we are .

You have probably read the Gospel of Thomas, and quite a wonderful amazing find it was . I like the mission statement of this site here for it , and how it ends with the emphasis on "seeing ":
thethomasgospel.com

The purpose of this site is to examine the text of the Coptic Christian Gospel of Thomas, to comment on its meaning, and to attempt to fill in the missing or confusing text with possible solutions. No attempt is made to establish its historical authenticity, as we believe the sayings stand entirely upon their own merits and their intrinsic significance is best determined by the reader's own "vision in the place of an eye".

Nothing like the persistance of illuminated vision , rare and
pure , innate and intrinsic.... once the moat in God's eye is removed and the child becomes a man .

Here is another "Gospel" , from a wonderful fellow who was a humble householder and weaver, in southern India. They have used it for their "Bible" for quite a few centuries , for it dates back some 2300 yrs or so when they wrote by inscribing on large leaves of a plant which was their way . But if you read it with an open heart and mind , you'll see some wonderful stuff shining thru . Remember if you do , that it is considered very sacred to them , as your bible is to you...and they regard him as a great prophet as the Moslem does Mohammed...or the Jew does his own.
coimbatore.net

Just a humble weaver from southern India , and what would he know of life , that a humble carpenter from over in Palestine/Israel several 1000's of mis away
would know better ?

Maybe truth knows no boundries?
