FDR is being remembered in the same rose colored glasses as Reagan. The fact is FDR was responcible for unprecedented censorship, witch hunting(so-called 5th column), and interning Us citezens(illeagaly). His Socialist Idealogy, though helpfull in curtailing the depression were nothing more then stop gaps. WWII is what ended the depression. FDR was a great leader, as was Ron reagan. Agree or disagree with their policies, the victories the reigned over are also indisputable. History remembers FDR fondly as he led during trying times, as will history look well on Reagan. Both however had glaring ineffiencies, and many who saw suffered at the hands of FDR's censorship may feel the same about him ans many here feel about reagan
