market was up today and igt slipped on heavy vol. i guess this would be a sure SOW . imo this is not a shakeout i took this short position yesterday in my paper-trade account ,,, now to manage the trade to get the most out of it . this is the part of the trade i like best . the purchase and a confirmation in the direction you expected the stock to go . Watch List Stocks-Acitivity for June 16 This is one of several stocks mentioned on Todays Watch List VAR-This favorite in a strong sector continues to show evidence of a change in character. For the second day in a row VAR traded down with increased spread, on higher volume, closing at the lows of the day. It is at the ice level which it hasn't broken through in several prior attempts. The character of the action, however, offers a strong probability that it will. Looking at the projected downside targets, the first of $81 has been attained. Several additional phases from the LSPY at $88 provide for conservative targets of $74 and $68 from the highs of the year. Targets from the $88 level are lower. Additionally, the potential LPSY at $84 offers counts that are even lower. It will be important to see if VAR breaks the ice and if so in what manner.
