Big article in the news here( Mountains in N.C. ) about a man who adapted his diesel engine to burn oil. He and his wife traveled 2500 miles and spent $ 400.000.... He explains how it is done and how simple. He uses diesel too but only to get the huge RV... to roll and then switched to oil .. which can be saved from cooking oil from restaurants....

A lot of his explanation I do not understand but it was very encouraging that there are alternative methods beside the ones now used by Toyota, battery and gas.

<<This country has a more imminent energy threat from the natural gas shortage. The industry just spent hundreds of billions of dollars for NG fired generation this demand has run smack into tremendous declines in supply.>>>

There are a few shallow and low productive gas wells in this area. In the last week oil men have been out here twice, going to run a seismic survey with thumper trucks and offering $5 per acre for the intrusion.

The way things are going in the world, quehubo, I think there will be disruptions in the oil supply, and maybe even other energy sources in the next 10 years. There is NO way any government can be everywhere at the same time, watching for potential terrorists....unless each and every citizen takes up part of the job.

Then what will happen?
