There has been some reports by people very familiar with the Saudi infrastructure and security indicating that a very significant interruption could occur with a strike in one of 2 or 3 central areas. A successful strike at one of these arteries would put 1/2 of Saudi exports out of service for many quarters.

If this happens then we have economic disaster on par with the Great Depression.

I believe the House of Saud is terminally ill and that the regime change wont be favorable to oil exports. This is an even greater threat.

Once tens of millions of people feel severe pain from the loss of oil the world will be galvanized to restore oil production. The pesky Arabs in the way will be passing through the gates of hell in massive numbers.

People just dont realize that this time is very different than past oil embargoes or disruptions.
