We talked about this very thing tonight. Once tens of millions of people feel severe pain from the loss of oil the world will be galvanized to restore oil production. The pesky Arabs in the way will be passing through the gates of hell in massive numbers.

I believe the House of Saud is terminally ill and that the regime change wont be favorable to oil exports. This is an even greater threat.

I concur.. But at least the "patient" is finally paying attention to the "cancer" that has been growing within them and is taking steps to fight it.

The question is whether it's too late to save them, or if they are even worth saving?..

The second question is what replaces them, and at what cost?

Robert Baer, a former CIA type, has said so, too. You might enjoy his hair-raising book, Sleeping With The Devil, that deals with the Saudis in excruciating detail.

The royals are corrupt to the core. I can understand how even moderate Saudis hate them.
