About teddy!
He did say reagan ended the cold war and he gave him full credit. There is something more genuine about kennedy than some of the other liberals. If you remember the no child behind stuff was a love fest between kennedy and bush way back when. The guy has convictions and has earned the right to speak his mind.
Remember last week i said i thought the reagan death would be a wash and then i said it would work to bushes advantage. I think i was wrong about both. When all is said and done this election will be a referendum on bush and as begalla has said a large majority of americans in polls say we are on the wrong track and no incumbant has overcome that. And as Bill Kristol said yesterday the polls show that by 2-1 americans think under bush that we are less secure now after iraq war and as kristol said that is the kiss of the death poll.
So regardless of the happy face folks on this thread think, bushes only hope is better iraq situation and after the last two days i wonder if americans will see one iota of progress. Look at the stock market today--imo it reflects bombing in iraq and kidnapping and murder in saudi arabia. Bush has one other hope that kerry continues to be a lousy candidate. On Election day, the numbers will either break big for kerry as a vote of no confidence or bush will win a squeaker because kerry shows no gravitas. mike
