I dont disagree but it is my understanding the oil fields are not holy land and that if we left the rest of the country alone it would be more like guantanimo than the vatcian. (Actually saudi royal family is reminisent of battista 6 months before castro.)
Remember the whole world feeds off of oil and royalties would still flow to saudi, unless al quaeda was actually in charge. Keep in mind i do agree with you that we need alternate sources of energy in the long run and conservatin and more drilling in the short run. Hell thats the reason price should stay this high. mike
