Somewhat, though that may be drawing too fine of point. Issues are not always based in fact, ie, religion and God. However, to the exent that the issue is one of fact, the dude better be prepared to bring em.

I'll give you an example. The other day a poster flatly stated, "Reagan made a deal with the Iranians to hold the hostages till after his election" He stated that as fact. In support of this he posted a link to a story that recited the facts surrounding the issue but the author of the article properly called the conclusion he drew "allegations".

The guy did'nt seem to understand the difference...
