There is smoke without fire, especially when the smoke is intended to be blown up one's a$$. I don't know who you are hearing from in Berkeley, but I go there often, and what you "keep hearing" is silly. I trust the evidence of my own experience much more than the Express. If you've read the Express very often, you will know what I mean. If you haven't read it, or have not read it often, you don't know Berkeley very well.
