All I am saying is in no way does today resemble 1998 in either sentiment or fundamental trough value.

Whether you sell or not is up to you but fighting the trend can be dangerous when the trend is down and sentiment is still overly bullish by most objective measures.

Notice how seemingly positive news is now not news at all....the market is still focused on the negatives:

New York light crude futures (CLc1) fell nearly a dollar to $37.50 a barrel while London-traded Brent crude (LCOc1) slipped 22 cents to $35.22 a barrel. U.S. gasoline futures, meanwhile, slumped more than 4 cents a gallon.
