Different takes, I guess, Karen. Carter's "preachiness" was just more than I wanted to deal with.

Clinton did his "religious thing" more from pure politics, IMO. Not going to church....I think they all did. But Clinton knew better than to go to "preach" at a church, white and black both, before the elections, and to openly and blatently advertise for his and Gore's elections. So did Gore.

Reagan was more like my Dad. He lived his religion and didn't preach about it. Just was himself, and lived his life according to his beliefs.

Bush doesn't bother me. He too is open about his religion. I don't believe he is trying to "change" anyone's life. I've already said what I think about PBA. When this procedure is done in the last month, unless the mother's life is truly in danger, it is murder IMO. But don't worry, there are too many women that will never let pro-choice to be anything but that. And that pro-choice option doesn't have to mean have an abortion. Just choice. Women that choose to have abortions, will emotionally have troubles downstream. There are consequences to actions.

I don't care for Ashcroft, however. The day they covered the statues at Justice was over the top for me.
