Bush seems like he really resents the "new economy" because the tech centers are all blue states for the most part, even Austin is a liberal enclave in the center of an otherwise red state.

It doesn't matter what Bush thinks, or how many tax cuts Bush jams through for dividends in an attempt to elevate the oil industry to the level of superstardom tech executives achieved in the 90s. Oil and red state industries are old line, slow growing businesses that need new industries to sustain their own business model. Anyway it won't be long until they are all gone.
