I definitely want to get rid of Bush, I'm tired of his crony capitalism, but the fact is we have seen nothing but increases in payroll taxes for 20 years while other taxes decreased... now we have issues with US labor competing with offshore labor and the fica funds have been raided to pay for who knows what. In the 90s we had a surplus, SS was well funded and now it isn't. It seems to me the tax cuts need to be rolled back before fica needs to be raised *yet again**.
