I heard a discussion last evening about those 26 retired diplomats/military officers--comments were by P.J. O'Rourke. He said they are all from the Carter & Clinton Adm's, and that they don't believe they did quite as much damage to the U.S. military & diplomatic missions as they could have while in office, so they're trying to put the final nail in the coffin.
