Marchoud's aide was also killed, and several innocent Palestinian bystanders were injured in the air attack. Security officials said Marchoud was responsible for masterminding over twenty terrorist attacks in Israel, including an attack in Jerusalem and another in Emmanuel. "In this assassination Israel eliminated all possibilities for a ceasefire. We won't abide by any ceasefire agreement, and we will avenge our leader's death," a spokesman for al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades said. jpost.com
