Wow.....just how do you want people to perceive you when you write such dribble?!? So, I'm the stupid one for calling you out on your inane comment....figures!!! Reminds me of when one says "I was just kidding" as a means of backing out when you actually meant what you said.

Anyway, fair enough.....I'll read all your posts from here on out with that in mind.

MON.

p.s. Visit France, it's not nearly as bad as what your peers will have you believe.

Carranza2, with all your connections and overachiever accomplishments, not to mention your conservative leanings, in some circles there is likely to be some interest in you as a breeder. Are you passably presentable....?

Actually, we have a lot in common, my grandfather used to pick up the family and travel on short notice just like your grandfather did. In the early 1900s he was a pro-Wobbly speaker, and purportedly a damn fine one too. He was so eloquent and so able to generate passion for the Wobbly Union's cause that in one instance a company inspired mob was coming to hang him. He left just before the mob arrived and avoided a lynching, but he didn't have the money to travel to Turkey; he barely had the money to buy a turkey.

You have no idea who any of us are either, but who cares; in the end it's the perceptiveness versus pedestrian aspects of our thoughts that marks us as more or less worthy of listening to on these tiny threads.

But back to the grandfather thing; it's odd how our roots go way back and influence our thinking generations later.
