Jim,

I imagine Dothan would have similar IPC as K8 on integer code.

Problem areas are weak FPU, lack of AMD64 support.

Power consumption is a plus.

Unknowns are how well it would perform with 800 or 1066 FSB, how well it will scale clock speed wise and how compatible it will be with existing motherboards.

On running Seti, a 1.6GHz Pentium-M averaged 13 per day or slightly less than 2 hours per work unit.

FX51 at 2.6GHz does about 17 per day or 1 and 1/2 hour per work unit.

But remember the notebooks are all stock. Once you start tweeking into ultra high FSB's all bets are off.
