The Sudan never offered Osama to Clinton. It is one more rightwing fabrication. After hearing both sides, I think we can surmise this. Sandy Berger's denials the offer ever took place seem credible enough.

We have been through this debate before. This is the same kind of rumor as the offer from Saddam to surrender days before the war. Bottomline, if an offer had been serious it should have been made at the highest levels of government, not throguh some back channel low level people.
