AS, seeing quite a few posts on several SI threads over the past few days, I am starting to sense that they are finally realizing that Bush is finished. And why not so? After spending all those millions in bashing Kerry, all he got was a neck and neck race even in battleground states. Pretty bad for an incumbent after 3 1/2 years of a record to show and about 80 million dollars spent.

Even my friend Ann wonders why I have changed my style of posts. A simple answer. Who would not like to be with a winner. At first I thought Bush would have some chance for re election. But since then Iraq has gone downhill, memories of Reagan brought out the stark distinction between Bush and the quintessential conservative do-good, feel-good Reagan. And so the game is over.
