John Loftus was pounding the table last night on Iran's complicity in the iraq terror/insurrection from March forward. Also implicated in Saudi stuff as well according to Loftus. His main point is that al quaeda has sanctuary in iran and iran is helping them in the planning and carrying out of this insurrection both by al sadr and al quaeda. The goal of course is to drive the US out and create an iraq more friendly to iran and al quaeda or perhaps and this is my inference partitioning iraq into al quaeda controlled triangle and shiaa iran-like state in the south. The goal of all this is for iran to become a nuclear power. His fear is that the radical component within iran with just a few bombs will be able because of the strategic imbalance to give orders to the other arabs states. Hey abdullah kick the US out or we bomb amman. Korean missile technology is the key to the delivery system and none of this is yet finished but all is either months or a year or two away. Have you heard more about this theory? mike
