Sprint's ILEC division had, if I recall, over a million customers at one point. Anyone know up-to-date info on this?

Also, in the 2000 time frame, they were talking about 8-home-node FTTC. Not sure what ever became of that. Presumably nothing or we'd surely be hearing about it. With 8 home nodes, they'd have pretty short copper drops (like <300ft) so would be able to deploy the 100Mbps down/ 30Mbps up DSL flavors that are just becoming available)
