If you want to have a discussion about REFR issue, let's leave the words fraudulent and scam (and the like) out.

So how are we to explain 38 years of failure to meet even the most basic of investor expectations? Just the most colossal run of bad luck this side of Fenway Park?

Just because there are relationships among those interested in SPD doesn't make anything fraudulent.

Do you not think there is any amount of obligation to disclose any of that?

I've gone down to meet with Jim Lange at RFI. Granted that it is a tiny company. So what?

Tiny, you say. So tiny the whole works could vanish literally overnight leaving Boeing without recourse. Yeah, you really want to have major, high-visibility features of your aircraft totally dependent on those kinds of outfits.

The best known one is the Setra buses. Do you not believe they exist? Did REFR con DC into that?

If so, it was a pretty worthless con. REFR never made a dime off of it -- actually lost $750,000 -- and the subsidiary/licensee that took point for the whole deal is out of business.

DC, for their part, has never mentioned SPD by name, hasn't mentioned "TopSky" since that birthday bash last October, went out of its way to ignore the SPD sunroof on the Jeep Rescue, and didn't lift a finger to bail out SPD Inc. So come to think of it, maybe they were a little bit sore about something...

I'm confused. Exactly how do you expect me to do this? I call them as I see them, and I was so certain about my observations and conclusions, that I risked hundreds of thousands of dollars of my own money.

The problem here is that small investors are given the impression that Inspectech, (the now defunct) and Research Frontiers/SPDi are separate entities. The one and ONLY reason Inspectech is a so-called licensee is because the wife of Alex Martinez (who is an Inspectech executive), is the daughter of an SPDi insider and crony of Robert Saxe.

I am not 99%... but 100% certain that Alex Martinez, his wife and certain SPDi insiders traded REFR stock immediately before certain press releases (remember 5,000 windows per month). I am 100% certain about this because I went to the trouble and expense of hiring an attorney specializing in securities law and a private investigator to do A LOT of digging.

I could go on...but it really wouldn't do much good. I know what the final outcome here will be. The only question is when.
