I have explained the thing clearly enough, Buddy. I think either you are a natural idiot or a purposeful one. I never claimed conservatism meant 'wanting to go back to the way things were.' This is a blindness, a caricature of my view that causes you to be unable to honestly dialog on this issue. I merely took the definition YOU proposed (that Conservatism means 'wanting to go back to the way things were') and pointed out that such a definition --- lacking any fixed references or precepts --- What an idiot. I gave you the friggin' fixed reference. You've simply overlooked it. My technique was simply to give you the loose concept in abstract, showing what the philosophy looks like unrestricted by nature. Then I suggested you drop the concept within nature, since that is where we are, to see its practical form. Had you first done this, without challenging it but simply to understand the view, you would have understood my position. Forget it. You wouldn't have understood it no matter what. Fine, like I already said, you are free to propose your own list of 'conservite requirements'... but if you argue such a wishy-washy concept as 'natural requirements', you must at least attempt to list a few of these supposed requirements... Eating living things is one of them. Logical sexual heterogeny is another, and there is not anything wishy-washy about either. (what an idiot.) else you have served no useful purpose except to muddy the waters. I muddy nothing. I am trying to encourage you to think a bit more broadly, to get nearer to the origin of the problem. I knew it was an utter waste of effort to even attempt it, based upon failed attempts with you in the past. But, I could not resist.
