This last Jeep Grand I bought has more goodies and cost more than a Lincoln Continental. Not like the Jeep I had when I owned the duck hunting club. Then again I'm looking for nice and get through snow and not driving in the bottom ground next to the river. Back in the hunting days one of the club members bought a Toyota Land Cruiser, the high dollar model. 6 cylinder engine with cylinders the size tractors have. Town, road, trailer or no trailer it got 8 miles per gallon and that sucker could go through about anything. But instead of driving it through the mud, he kept a Jeep Cherokee at the club to drive to his blind. At $48k 15 years ago he didn't want to get it dirty. Looked good at the bar after hunting though.
