I guess your explanation covers off why AMD's revenues between Sept 30/03 and Mar 31/04, in absolute dollars, are $25M greater than INTC's! Must be all those PressHots, jayhawks and tejas that are being shipped!

AMD's fabs, however few there are, saw revenues increase by $25M more than INTC, with all those fabs producing all those products, in the most recent 6 month interval!

I guess, according to the INTC duo of greg s and elmerp, that's because INTC's yields surpass AMD's by such a wide margin!

my little finger tells me that Intel has much more than 4x 5500WPW theoretical potential

hint: AMD isn't using 5500WPW at Dresden because the market can'T absorb 15Mo AMD chips.... WAKE UP
