I did not rely on the counterpunch site for a definition of the Powell Doctrine. That can be found from thousands of sites, just Google it up (I checked 6, at random, to refresh my memory of exactly what the Doctrine was).

I thought the Counterpunch article had an interesting (and, yes, quite biased) viewpoint on how the Doctrine is being violated.
