Bad News for Bush Here in Maryland Jun 15, 2004 7:45 am US/Eastern Baltimore, MD (WJZ) Disappointing news for the Bush administration, as the President's performance rating here in Maryland sinks to its lowest point. At one point, Bush enjoyed an approval rating as high as 74%, in the months following the September 11th attacks. Now, the President's approval rating has sunk to 39% and now 54% of Marylanders disapprove of his job performance. If the election was held today, only 38% of voters would cast their ballots for the incumbent President. Meanwhile, 52% say they would vote for Democratic candidate John Kerry. wjz.com
