Personally, I like to visit the local, stick in the mud pawn shops (look for no computer, hand-written price tags and you can be sure these people have never heard of Kitco, and try to sound kind of dumb once you figure out it is platinum) to see how underpriced the heavy platinum jewelry is but she never likes anything good I show her. I try to explain it to her. Now THAT is an investment!
