From what I've read Nixon squashed an effort to force a recount in 60 that I understand Kennedy very well might have lost. Didn't want to put the country through that. Doesn't sound like much of a sore loser to me. Kind of funny with folks calling him a crook also. He didn't steal anything. In fact it's pretty well documented that he knew nothing of the break in. Trying to cover it up once he did find out was his sin. I have little doubt had he stepped forward and apologized when he found out it would have never been blown into such an affair.
