Don't you understand politics. The McCain "offers" are all for show. Kerry wants moderate Republicans and swing-voters to know he and McCain are very-very close. That's all. If you go back and read his earlier posts, you will see that the McCain overtures were not at all for show, but were dead serious. Now that it is very public that McCain turned down Kerry, AS knowingly lies.
