Isreal can't survive without the $4 Billion in U.S. aid. I think the main problem with peace between the Isrealies and Palestinians is the Isrealies. They're the ones who hold all the cards. They have control of the land that must be handed over to the Palestinians. The U.S. could certainly be a much bigger player by forcing Isreal to come to terms.
