Just because I didn't have an organism over the Passion does not make an atheist.

Agnostic, whatever. I forgot that atheists don't want to call themselves atheists anymore, because at least they realize that atheism requires a belief in something (in this case, the belief in no God), while agnosticism doesn't.

You're holier than thou attitude is a credit to your religion.

What's got you so pissed......the latest
poll ratings for Bush or the continuing mess in Iraq?

Actually, atheism requires enough knowledge to know there is no God. Agnostisism requires various degrees of doubt.

To take it "on faith" that there isn't a God is just another form of spiritualism.

When we were talking about Kerry and religion yesterday, I had forgotten why Kerry got into the religious issue in the first place. It had to do with the Archbishop of St. Louis saying earlier this year, probably after some goading from the Bushies, that he would not give Kerry communion because of his pro choice stance. This is becoming a popular position among priests in the Catholic religion probably to detract from their pedophile episodes.

In any case, it was that remark that caused Kerry to start talking about his religious beliefs.

Frankly, had I been Catholic when I heard that remark, I would have left the church. What are they trying to do.......threaten people into compliance like in the Dark Ages?
