I don't know if I can restore - yesterday I had to uncheck the restore option in order to get rid of a virus file that was contained in the restore part of my computer. By doing that, doesn't it mean that I basically wiped out all of my restore dates? Maybe my last setting from last night would still be there?

Anyone have any experience with "prosearching"?....I clicked on a link in my IM like an idiot and software was installed which I now cannot remove. I have used SpyBot, HijackThis, and others and yet this remains. I am very frustrated.....I think there is a special place in hell for the people behind these nefarious programs.
