el-

sarah had an interesting thought today.

she said that maybe before we were born,
we were part of the universe and when we
die, we return. and that's a good thing,
because we become part of the whole again.
and whereas when we're alive, we are alone
after we die, we are no longer alone - we
are one again. part of the collective - not
lonely anymore.

now the question begs, why were we born and
she suggested that it was perhaps to experience
being alone and vulnerable and to learn how to
be compassionate and loving and giving ... and
the take that knowledge back and share it with
the universe. just put it out there.

i think we were born to perpetuate a species -
like plants re-seed themselves and fish spawn and
'srooms shoot out spores - and that life is ever
evolving.

to what end i don't know.

just some rambling.
