I was not. no. no. not at all. it sounds like you think i was being sarcastic in my response. i was not. sorry if i sounded that way - my humor takes a while to get used to... some never get used to it so i just shut up. :-) i was flattered by your reply and if i answered like a jerk i'm sure it was just to humble myself in your presence. <kidding> ok, for labels sake let's say that: door 1 = "the universe is basically evil and dangerous and the evil needs human or humanlike-divine intervention to be re-directed onto it's proper course" door 2 = "the universe is basically good and safe and goodness must be nurtured to keep it on it's proper course" door 3 = "the universe is bi-polar neither good nor evil but perfectly designed for self propelled evolution through the dynamics of opposing polarities. it needs nothing that it does not already have and it is on exactly the course it is on." -el

suma- ok. i've thought it over, corrected my typos and re-written my post to you. chit-can the other one. <g> here goes... there are three doors up on the stage... door #1 = "the universe is basically evil and dangerous and the evilness needs human or humanlike-divine intervention to be forcibly re-directed onto its proper course" door #2 = "the universe is basically good and safe but goodness must be nurtured to keep it on its proper course" door #3 = "the universe is bipolar, neither good nor evil but perfectly designed for self propelled evolution through the dynamics of opposing polarities. it needs nothing that it does not already have and it is on exactly the course it is on." pick one. after you've chosen your door, you will know your purpose for being here on this thread... and being on earth in this incarnation. you'll also be able to understand the mission of the other posters if you can deduce the door they've chosen. this will be a great tool of understanding and will help you in communicating and interacting with them. the hardest to understand will be the maniacs like me who keep running in and out of all the doors testing each one over and over and wearing out the hinges. but if i had to chose just one and stick with it, i'd choose door #3. that makes my mission here one of play, creation, art, exploration, expression and SPORTS. -el marinero
